Sunnynook Community Centre offers a wide range of activities for all ages.

To find out more information about these activities, either contact the centre where a programme is available or we publish a quarterly newsletter circulated within the local area with centre news and a full programme of events and classes.


CHILDREN
A huge variety of classes for children are run from the centre. Here are just a few:

  • Sunnynook Playgroup
  • Jumping Beans
  • Milford Plunket Toy Library
  • Japanese Playgroup

    For school age children we have Miles Dance School who give bllet lessons, Music for Young Children, Sunnynook Brownies and Pippins, Irish Dancing, during school holidays we run a school holiday programme for children between 5-10 years with fun crafts, games and trips.

    We have a licensed crece for preschool children and a Plunket Centre.


    ADULTS
    There are lots of different dance classes with a choice between Ceroc, Line Dancing and Rock'n'Roll. North Shore Country and Western Music Club also has its home here.

    Sunnynook 60s Up and Bowls Club and Sunnynook Ladies Probus use our centre and also the new Combined Milford Probus Club.

    During school term we provide English classes at different levels for new settlers and also our extremely popular Kiwi Cooking Classes.


    HALL FACILITIES
    We provide facilities for club meetings, corporate workshops and seminars and are available for hire for parties or large meetings.
